- Schedule and coordinate counseling appointments for providers
- Checking insurance eligibility to include referral requirements and authorizations
- Check financial eligibility for HCA, Beacon and other funding monthly
- Check in clients and update status in myAvatar
- Prepare admission and counseling documents/forms for providers
- Collect payments from clients
- Preparing new patient files, including new chart/folder and labels
- Record and post all charges, including cash. Apply to clients’ account/invoice
- Request legal documentation
- Answer phone calls and give reminder calls to clients
- Maintain business office inventory and equipment
- Assist the counselors and admin staff as needed
- Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
