About Victoria Tupua
I am a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee at Asian Counseling and Treatment Services (ACTS), where I specialize in substance use disorder treatment, mental health support, and providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
With over 15 years of experience in the medical field—ranging from direct service to administrative roles—I bring a holistic and empathetic approach to client care. I earned my Substance Use Disorder Professional Education and Case Aide Certificates from Tacoma Community College, where I am also working toward my Associate of Arts and Sciences degree with a focus on Human Services. Currently, I am credentialed as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) in Washington State.
I am deeply passionate about breaking down stigma and creating safe, empowering spaces for individuals and families on their healing journey. My work is rooted in harm reduction, cultural connection, and meeting people where they are.
Outside of work, I am a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who loves cheering on my children in basketball, football, and golf. I also serve as a service coordinator in my local faith community and find peace and balance through paddleboarding.
“At the end of the day, it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished... it's about who you've lifted up, who you've made better. It's about what you've given back.”
— Denzel Washington
